Rich is currently working with the Anacortes School District Technology Services team as a Systems Administrator and Technology Projects Manager. Rich is originally from Boston, MA and is still a huge fan of Boston sports (especially hockey – Go Bruins!). In 2004 he moved to Texas where he lived for almost 17 years. During that time he completed his Associates Degree in Information Technology & Computer Networking, and also met his wife of 14 years, Brittany. In 2021 they moved the family to Washington State.

Rich worked within the Texas A&M University system for 9 years in various roles ranging from desktop computer support, to IT Manager for the Colleges of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health. From 2017 until 2019 he also served as the Associate Director of the IT group for the Health Science Center. In 2019, he left the health-sciences arm of the University and moved to the Texas A&M Forest Service as a Systems Administrator and Network Engineer. He remained with the Forest Service for two years before joining the Anacortes School District. During his time with the University, Rich also decided to return to school and completed his Bachelor’s Degree in IT Management.

Both Rich and his wife Brittany are in love with the Pacific Northwest and enjoy spending time outdoors with the family, camping, hiking, etc. Rich has always maintained a deep passion for technology, spending a lot of his free time tinkering with vintage computers and video game systems.
